Terms of service

CRCST Academy is an independent study resource for the CRCST exam. It does not administer the exam, score it, or issue certification. Exam fees, eligibility, scheduling, and results are handled by HSPA and Prometric, and their rules can change. Check myhspa.org for anything about the exam itself.

CRCST® is a registered certification mark of the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. CRCST Academy is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by HSPA.

CRCST Academy uses original practice questions—not actual, recalled, or leaked HSPA exam questions. The goal is to learn the underlying concepts, use each explanation, and reason through unfamiliar wording on exam day.

Signing in sends a one-time link to your email address, so there is no password. That link is personal. Anyone who opens it can reach your account, so do not forward it.

An account is for one person. Sharing an account, or sharing sign-in links so other people can study on your purchase, is not allowed. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The Full Access Pass costs $49 once and runs for 6 months from the day you buy it. It does not renew, it is not a subscription, and there is nothing to cancel. When the 6 months end, paid access ends and your study history stays in your account. A pass bought under the earlier 12-month offer keeps its 12 months.

Monthly Full Access: $12/month · regular price $29 · renews monthly · cancel anytime. Both plans include the same learning features. Renews monthly until canceled. Cancel from Account before the next renewal; access continues through the paid billing period. The pass-or-refund guarantee is not included. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically refund the current paid month.

Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe’s own checkout pages. Access starts once Stripe confirms the payment. The free practice test needs an account but no payment.

For the $49 Full Access Pass: fail the CRCST exam and receive a full refund when you take the exam within 6 months of purchase and, before that exam attempt, complete at least one FULL 150-question mock exam. Monthly subscriptions are not covered.

The guarantee page is where you make a claim. It lists the documents a claim needs and how the review works. Every claim is checked by a person against the conditions above, and against your account history. The HSPA exam fee is paid to HSPA and is not ours to refund.

Outside the guarantee, refunds are not automatic. Use the contact form and describe your situation, and we will look at it.

The questions, explanations, rationales, and study material are ours. You may use them to study, on your own account, for as long as your access lasts. You may not:

• copy, republish, sell, or hand on the questions or explanations, in any form;
• collect the content automatically — no scraping, bulk downloading, or scripted access;
• use the content to build or train another product or question bank;
• work around access limits, or use someone else’s account.

We can suspend or close an account that does any of this, or that puts the service or other people at risk.

Studying here does not guarantee a passing score. The pass guarantee above is a refund promise, not a promise about your result. Passing and certification are decided by HSPA.

The material is written to prepare you for an exam. It is not clinical, legal, or professional advice, and it does not replace your employer’s policies or a manufacturer’s instructions for use.

Questions are added, corrected, and removed over time, and features change. The site can be unavailable during maintenance or because of a problem at one of our providers. We work to keep interruptions short, and we do not promise uninterrupted service.

You can stop using CRCST Academy at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account — the privacy policy explains what that removes. Deleting your account ends any access you have paid for and cannot be undone.

To the extent the law allows, CRCST Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a missed exam date, an exam fee, lost income, or lost study time. For any claim connected to this service, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us.

Nothing here removes a right you have under consumer law that cannot be signed away.

When these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the change.
