Assembly is more than filling a tray. Each item must work, match the count sheet and sit where the sterilant reaches it.

Keep the preparation and packaging area clean through its air, surfaces, dress code and traffic rules; build each pack to be functional, accurate and neat from its count sheet; send back what fails inspection; arrange a tray so the sterilant reaches every part; and place an internal chemical indicator where the sterilant has the hardest time reaching.
